Support Imire

We are committed to protecting our wildlife and believe that rural communities and conservation programmes can thrive side by side, working together to ensure the protection of our wildlife and cultural heritage.

We rely on support and donations from private individuals and organisations from around the world, as well as volunteers and local visitors, to ensure the safety and well-being of all our animals, in particular our rhino and elephants.

All of our community and game park development projects help us acheive our goals and continue our work into the next generation. Thank you for your support.

How can I help?

Visit us! Volunteers play an important role at Imire and contributions of time and energy, as well as the income from your visit are vital to our operation.

Stay involved: we run an Ambassador Programme so that previous visitors and supporters who continue to promote and raise awareness of Imire can earn rewards and money off their next volunteering trip! More details of our Ambassador Programme.

We have a Projects Portfolio which gives more information about our current game park, wildlife and community projects. If you would like to make a donation, please email us for details of how to pay, or click on the link below (local and international payments accepted).

Wildlife Projects:

We need your help to secure the future of the rhino in Zimbabwe, in Africa and across the world. There are fewer than 2,500 black rhino left in Africa and they are classified by the IUCN as Critically Endangered. The cost of employing rhino handers and a dedicated Anti-Poaching Unit, as well as nutritional supplements and providing veterinary care, is one of our biggest expenses.

Sponsorship options

In response to people who ask us "How can we help Imire", we have put together a Projects Portfolio which details all our current projects as well as how to donate.
